One more advantage of the gasoline engine car is that cars can also run on LPG.</p>
<p><strong><span id="more-152"></span>Petroleum Fuel Engine: Diesel Engine</strong></p>
<p>First model of diesel engine was introduced in 1922 in Europe. And first car was introduced in 1936 by Mercedes-Benz. An advantage of a diesel gas is diesel engine use 50% fuel for burning while gasoline engine burn only 27% of fuel. And a disadvantage of diesel engine is required good filter for existing gases of dust particles. Now manufacturers used to fix a diesel particulate filter to remove dust. So many cars in diesel run with little modification in 100% biodiesel or organic oil combination.</p>
<p><strong>Bio Fuel Engine: Bio Fuel Engine, Ethanol Fuel Engine, and Bio Gasoline Engine</strong></p>
<p>An automotive fuel like Ethanol fuel, Bio Gasoline fuel or Alcohol (Bio Butanol) fuel are spread everywhere. Generally alcohols are used combining with the gasoline because alcohols give less energy per liters. Alcohols are used as an alternative for petroleum fuel. Near about 6 million people use dual or flexible-fuel vehicle, because in these vehicles any mixture of gasoline and ethanol can be use.</p>
<p><strong>Electric Engine: Hybrid Car Engine, Electric Car Engine, Plug-in Hybrid Engine</strong></p>
<p>First electric car was introduced in 1832. Electric motor was consider best for its silent nature as compare to gasoline engine which as create lot of noise. This was improved in 1897 by improving long range and high energy battery. But fuel weight is lower than weight of batteries. So to develop battery electric motor vehicle take lots of time for waiting modern semiconductor, to improve battery and control. The electric battery needs three and half hour to charge a battery to cover 250 mile distance in case of Environmental Protection Agency of United States. It is much better then gasoline engine performance.</p>
<p><strong>Air Based Engine: Compressed Air Car Engine</strong></p>
<p>Compressed air engine is used as an alternative for other car engines motorized with the help of compressed air. Compressed air combined with other fuel like gasoline, ethanol or electric power also gives good results. TATA motors are released this type of car recently.</p>
<p><strong>Stream Engine: Stream Car Engine</strong></p>
<p>Usually a gas heated or oil heated boiler are used in stream engines till 1930. This can be possible only when a boiler pressure was available. But now a day this is achieved by some new model. This engine give advantage of producing less emitting particles and disadvantage is that its heat efficiency is weak and additional electric supportive elements are necessary.</p>
